Lecture by Francisco Mangado: The Architectural Object

On Wednesday, 17th of February, at 7 p.m. in Oris House of Architecture, a well-acclaimed Spanish architect Francisco Mangado will deliver a lecture entitled The Architectural Object.

Francisco Mangado was born in Navarre in 1957. Graduated from the University of Navarre School of Architecture in 1982, and has since made this institution the centre of his teaching career. Has been a guest professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, as well as Eero Saarinen visiting professor at the Yale School of Architecture. A studio professor in the Navarre school’s Master of Architectural Design programme and visiting professor at l’École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Set up the Fundación Arquitectura y Sociedad in 2008. Awards and mentions: Andrea Palladio International Architecture Award; a City of Thiene Architecture Award; an Architécti Prize; the FAD and CEOE Awards; RIBA International Fellow, 2011; AIA Honorary Fellowship by the American Institute of Architects, 2013.
