accompanied by a lecture of Jelena Skorup and Dražen Juračić

Jelena Skorup was born in Rijeka in 1959. Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb in 1984. Pursued the Building Heritage postgraduate studies from 1985 to 1987 and has been attending architecture doctorate studies at the same faculty since 2007. Exhibited at the Venice Biennale – Projects for Venice (the head of the group of authors was Giancarlo Priori) in 1985. In 1991, she established and has run ever since the architectural office aries together with architect Dražen Juračić.

Dražen Juračić was born in Zagreb in 1948. Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb, where he received his PhD. Finished a specialised postgraduate course in the Netherlands (th Delft). Professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb and runs the aries design studio together with Jelena Skorup. Has received the Vladimir Nazor, Viktor Kovačić and Bernardo Bernardi awards. Has published a number of texts and discussions on architecture and Health Care Facilities – a textbook for architectural studies in 2005.
