Contextual Black Box

architect Maurizio Bradaschia
project MIDJ offices and showroom, Cordovado, Italy
written by Luigi Prestinenza Puglisi

Although he usually leans towards the new, Maurizio Bradaschia was seduced neither by deconstructivism, nor the post-organic, neo-electronic or blob poetics which followed. Therefore, his 25-year opus retained a significant coherence and encompasses many exquisite works. One of them is the new headquarters of MIDJ, the company specializing in office furniture in the north-east of Italy, in the Pordenone region. MIDJ’s management put their trust in Maurizio Bradaschia, with whom they had collaborated before, because the company holds an annual competition for new designer talents, and he is one of the judges.
