Good architects can be found everywhere in Europe. Statistically speaking, creative talent is bound to be distributed evenly. In contrast, the circumstances in which we create good architecture are not the same everywhere. Even those unfamiliar with the Balkans are aware that the political, social, economic and cultural conditions for architecture in Bosnia and Herzegovina are complex, to put it mildly. In this context, post-war architectural achievements are infinitely more impressive.
