The celebration of the Zaragoza 2008 International Exhibition has represented an attempt to place this Spanish city in the limelight of the global panorama for a few months but, above all, has been an argument to catalyse and accelerate the realisation of a large-scale project of urban re- structuring and renovation aiming primarily at redefining the position of Zaragoza.
