The children’s museum designed by fasch&fuchs architects looks like a lesson on how to watch and experience things. The dark building stands in the middle of the Augarten Park in Graz. The beautiful thing is that the museum does not patronize children as immature big babies, but takes them seriously as curious people.

As early as the 16th century, François Rabelais, one of the most famous Humanists of the Renaissance, believed that “a child is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be lighted”. But places that can really light a fire in children and stir up their interest, curiosity and spirit of adventure are rare, at least in Europe.
