The Museum of Arts and Crafts is pleased to announce the exhibition Sixties - myth and reality! The exhibition will open on 26 April and will stay on view until 30 September of 2018.
It will present a cross-section of artefacts from the turbulent period of Croatian cultural history, concentrating primarily on the period from 1958 to 1971. The exhibition will include various modes of artistic expression: from fashion, popular culture, music, theater, literature to fine arts. architecture and urbanism.
The project is a several-year-long joint effort of a team comprised of renowned scholars and experts: Zvonko Maković, Ana Lederer, Ante Batović, Dunja Nekić, Hrvoje Horvat, Igor Duda, Inoslav Bešker, Koraljka Vlajo, Krešimir Nemec, Lovorka Magaš Bilandžić, Maja Đurinović, Marija Tonković, Marina Bagarić, Maroje Mrduljaš, Nada Zgrabljić Rotar, Nina Simončič, Seadeta Midžić i Tomislav Šakić.
