At Days of Oris 10, held in Zagreb on 23 and 24 October 2010, spoke architect Peter Zumthor, who came to the conference for the second time.  Next to his world famous projects, Zumthor also spoke about what inspires him and why he believes that the core of architecture is the interior and not the exterior space. His lecture has been posted in full.

Peter Zumthor was born in Basel in 1943. Trained as a cabinetmaker at the shop of his father, as a designer and architect at the Kunstgewerbeschule Basel and at Pratt Institute, New York. Established his own practice in Haldenstein, Switzerland in 1979. Visiting professor at Southern California Institute of Architecture, SCI-ARC, Los Ange­les, 1988; Technische Universität Munich, 1989; Graduate School of Design, Harvard University, Boston, 1999. Professor at the Academy of Architecture of Mendrisio, Università della Svizzera Italiana, from 1996 to 2008.
