Exhibition Dva arhitekta (Two Architects) 2003 - 2013 will be held in the Oris House of Architecture from March 18th to March 25th 2015, on the occasion of the publication of their monograph 2A.
Ćurković and Zidarić stand out precisely because of their vitality, and persistence as designers, which means accepting the limits in terms of adopting a realistic orientation towards accomplishing the possible, as well as rejecting the defeatist attitude according to which limitations automatically exclude all cultural achievements.
A conversation between Maroje Mrduljaš and Toni Bešlić with Two Architects will be held in the Oris House of Architecture on March 24th 2015 at 7.30 pm.
Tomislav Ćurković and Zoran Zidarić are the main designers and owners of the architectural office Dva Arhitekta. Tomislav Ćurković: born in Zagreb in 1961. Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb in 1988. After graduation he worked for the architectural office Interinžinjering in Zagreb, where he worked to the end of 1991. At the beginning of 1992, with Zoran Zidarić, he founded the architectural office Dva Arhitekta. Zoran Zidarić: born in 1962. Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb in 1987. He was a freelancer to the end of 1991, when he started working with Tomislav Ćurković.
Awards: Bernardo Bernardi Award in 1993 for the best interior design in Croatia from the Croatian Architects Association; Bernardo Bernardi Award in 1995 for the best interior design in Croatia from the Croatian Architects Association; Drago Galić Award for a family estate in Herzegovina in 2011; Annual award of the company Cemex in Mexico for the house in Istarska Street in 2011; First prize at the Annual award of the company Cemex in Mexico for a family estate in Herzegovina in 2012.
