Over the last few years, there has been very intense discussion about the status of industrial design in Croatia. The problem of exporting raw wood and importing expensive furniture, the foundation of wood clusters, the organization of ambitious projects such as the Design for Sustainable Development, the implementation of design in wood industry – these are just some of the topics that caused numerous discussions and attracted the interest of the public. Talks have been started with the wood industry, designers, managers and the government, but there is a lack of concrete results and practical application of the set goals.
