Sou Fujimoto, one of the leading members of the new generation of Japanese architects, will deliver a lecture in Oris House of Architecture on Friday, 11 November 2016 at 8 pm.
The admission fee is 35 HRK, for students 25 HRK.

Sou Fujimoto was born in Hokkaido in 1971, and after studying architecture at the University of Tokyo, in 2000 he established Sou Fujimoto Architects. Awarded theGolden Lion for National Participation at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2012 along with Kumiko Inui, Akihisa Hirata and Naoya Hatakeyama. Awards: The Architectural Review Award, three years in a row from 2005 (as well as the Grand Prize in 2006); JIA (Japan Institute of Architects) Grand Prize for the Children’s Psychiatric Rehabilitation Centre, 2008; highest award at the World Architectural Festival for the Private House division, 2008; chosen as Design Vanguard by Architecture Record magazine, 2008: Wallpaper magazine’s Design Award, 2009; Spotlight: the Rice Design Alliance Prize, 2010.
In 2012 he was one of the speakers at the architectural symposium Days of Oris.
