Francisca Benedetti is a Chilean artist that is working as a visual artist with
drawing and embroidery, alternating her formal strategies between each discipline.
She has taken part in solo and collective exhibitions such as Ascesis (Víctor Saavedra Gallery, Barcelona, 2015),
Chaco: Feria de arte Contemporáneo (2014), Geometría Intuitiva (Castillo del Parque, Santiago, 2013),
ArteBa (Buenos Aires, 2012), Metamujer (XS Gallery, Santiago, 2011) and Fractales (Santiago, 2010).
Work is geometric abstraction that is actually a radical incarnation of modesty.
The nature of that abstraction is of the same stuff as the romantic vision.
Like romanticism, the passion in Benedetti’s work is a passion for the infinite.
