Exhibition Piranesi Award 2017

The exhibition Piranesi Award 2017 will open on Tuesday, 13 March 2018 at 6 pm in Oris House of Architecture. The exhibition will display the Piranesi Award nominations for the year 2017. As costumed, the award ceremony was organized during the closing days of the symposium Piran Days of Architecture, in November 2017.
Piranesi Award is an international architectural acknowledgement established in 1989 and given to the innovative and contextually relevant European projects. Exhibition Piranesi Award 2017 presents the projects executed in the last two years, coming from eight different European countries (Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Slovakia and Slovenia). The winners are decided on by a jury composing of Piran Days of Architecture guest lecturers. The jury for the Piranesi Award 2017 included the following architects: Sami Rintala, Emilio Caravatti, Hans Gangoly, Irene Kristiner, Jaume Mayol, Irene Pérez, Robert Potokar, Branko Silađin i Manuel Aires Mateus.
